Join us for the four-part series on the inner critic in our healing and recovery journey. In this first episode, we get really clear on the different ways our inner critic shows up and impacts our life.

Many of us have a strong inner critic that prevents us from living the lives we want to live. It affects our creativity, our dreams and goals, and our relationships.

It can also impact our journey of healing, recovery, and self-care. In this series, we take steps to get to know our critic and heal our critic once and for all!

In this first episode, we get really clear on the different ways our inner critic shows up and impacts our life.

Once we know how to name the critic and give it its place, then we can understand more clearly where it comes from.

This first step is a crucial step towards healing.

You will hear all the secrets and my personal experiences in this episode.

Some ways the inner critic shows up:

  • Self-criticism and judgement of self or others

  • Not being “good enough”

  • Perfectionism and controlling

  • Imposter syndrome

  • Worry or fear

  • Expectations and high standards

  • Guilt and shame

  • Negative assumptions

  • Black and white thinking

  • People pleasing

  • Playing “small” and staying safe

  • Jealousy

  • Internalising what’s not yours

  • Internalised social norms and standards
