I’m here to support you on your unique journey from pain to power.

Hi there!

I am Lisa de Jong. I’m a coach, therapeutic practitioner and educator based in Dublin, Ireland.

I am half Dutch and half Irish, hence my unique surname! I love both heritages I come from, and you may see them come through in my work - Irish soulful creativity and Celtic wisdom, along with my Dutch direct communication and practicality.

You may be here because you have been struggling or suffering in some way with pain, with an unexplained condition, with trauma, or menstrual difficulties. I totally get it because I have been there myself.

For years I suffered with debilitating pain which turned out to be undiagnosed endometriosis. Along the way, I struggled in other areas of my life - my work, relationships, my mental health. I tried so many things and nothing really helped until I found this work and I am delighted to bring it to you now.

Dealing with misunderstood pain and suffering is confusing and it can feel like the medical and psychology community haven’t been able to adequately support us. That then leads to us trying to figure things out alone and coping, or pushing through life. The thing is, these communities have been limited in their resources and combined understanding of trauma and women’s health.

And so, this is what I can help you with - a unique coaching practice that is trauma-informed, understands both your body and your psychology, and that is focused on the unique results you are working towards. This approach works because it allows us to finally make sense of what has been going on for you in your body, and from there we create a clear path to self-care, recovery and healing.

I am very grateful to have worked with 100s of clients in my private practice and groups over the years. Thanks to this experience, I am also now the founder of the Menstrual Coach Academy. An Academy dedicated to providing menstrual cycle education to other professionals and wellness practicioners.

Coaching with me is not a one-size-fits-all, and I love this about my work.

I always work towards the best interests of your wellbeing within the context of your life. I have clients who have tried all forms of therapies and now solely work with me. Then I have others who avail of my services to support them alongside other therapies or as they navigate the medical system. This is why booking a consultation is important. It allows us to have a chat and get clear on what’s going on for you, what your needs are, and how I can support you on your journey.

Many of my clients tend to describe themselves as highly sensitive or intuitive and overwhelmed by the world. If that’s you too, I see you!

I can help you with that as that’s just a matter of learning to work with your powerful sensitivity as the gift that it is in your life.

“You've completely changed the way I think about my period.”

I've had health problems and energy problems for years, and it's always the same. I had never even related it back to my period, but it now seems so obvious because the symptoms are always the same. So, I just want to thank you because I was a bit skeptical when I read your article, but I am a complete convert.  Having tried most things, this seems like a straightforward and manageable way to make sense of life. You've helped me see my life in a brand-new light, and I am forever grateful.”
