14 // The Difference Between Sexism And Misogyny

In this episode we explore the difference between two important words in feminism: Sexism v Misogyny.

It is important to understand the difference and how to use these words so we can empower ourselves in our understanding of what harm is being done in a situation involving either.

These two terms can be confused, which often then gets criticised or can result in the words losing their power.

When we understand the difference between sexism and misogyny, we then understand how to navigate these invisible forces, how to point them out, how to empower ourselves and others.

These two definitions are also important in understanding what is happening in the world with regard to abortion rights.
