38 // 12-Step Recovery, Music, And Creativity With Shannon Curtis

See this content in the original post

In this episode, I had the pleasure of being joined by singer/songwriter and recording artist, Shannon Curtis, to speak about all things creativity, recovery, and personal power.

Shannon has just launched her new album titled Good To Me this December, which is inspired by her journey of healing and recovery in the 12-step programme Codependents Anonymous (CoDA).

Her music and message in this album is described as  "Kate Bush meets Glennon Doyle".

Good to Me
is a collection of ten 80s-inspired synthpop songs, which take listeners through the practice of recovery concepts like identifying failed coping mechanisms “From the Inside Out”, coming to terms with radical acceptance “Be With What Is”, learning to trust your inner truth “The Silent Sea”, and reconnecting to your serenity and power “I Am”.

You can find Shannon's album by searching her name on all music streaming services.
