See this content in the original post

In this episode we discuss the common reality of being afraid of your own dark feelings and thoughts. We talk about why it happens and what you can do to bring down the fear inside your body and mind.

Being afraid of your own feelings and thoughts is very normal but it creates a lot of tension and anxiety in the nervous system. When we resist dark feelings and thoughts, they can get stronger and then the fear can increase.

I work with many women who struggle with PMS, endometriosis and PMDD, and many of them often have suicidal thoughts. When we create some safety with these thoughts and feelings, they begin to soften and our capacity to be with them grows.

In this episode, I share:

  • what to do when we have dark feelings or thoughts

  • my journey with navigating fear

  • practical tips and tricks to soothe fear of emotions or thoughts

  • rituals and mantras to soothe the nervous system

  • supports for people with PMS, PMDD, period pain, and endometriosis

  • supports for spiritual healing during dark times
